1. Change the child’s diet:

(1) Reduce the amount of food for each meal, eat small amounts and eat more, avoid eating large amounts or overeat or eat too fast;

(2) Avoid eating midnight snacks;

(3) Don’t eat high-fat and fried foods, which are not easy to digest;

(4) Choose high-protein and low-fat foods;

(5) Avoid mint or mint-flavored food;

(6) Avoid beverages containing caffeine and carbonated beverages;

(7) Limit spicy and high acidity foods, such as citrus, tomatoes, and vinegar. Spicy foods are not limited to peppers, but also garlic and onions;

(9) After eating, wait 2 to 3 hours before lying down or exercising.

2. Don’t put on tight-fitting clothing for your child, especially the stomach is not too tight.

3. If your child needs to take anti-inflammatory and analgesics, don’t give bunofen (merlin), which is easy to irritate the stomach, but acetaminophen (paracetamol, Tylenol, Baifenin). Unless you have a doctor’s advice, do not allow your child to take multiple analgesics at the same time, because many analgesics contain acetaminophen. If taken in excess, it may cause liver damage.
